Just got back a few hours ago, overall very good over the two day span.
from saturday:
British Sea Power - the most insane band ever, they must have seriously been on acid or something for the show. Sounded fantastic and had some of the most insane stage antics i have ever seen. Very good show.
Interpol - very professional, didnt have much presence, but played their songs fantastically and sounded class.
New York Dolls - wasn't really into them too much, but they played their songs quite well and were entertaining.
The Killers - very good live band, they sounded excellent, the bass was a bit loud at times but they made up for it. Brandon was also very entertaining throughout.
sunday was great though:
Kasabian were absolutely rocking and played a great set. My friends who didn't know them before all want to go and buy their record now.
Lemonheads had dull stage presence, but played their songs well. Kind of felt flat after Kasabian.
Doves were also fantastic, played a great set and were fucking loud! they sounded very good though and played for about an hour.
Jet were ok i guess, mainly i was waiting to see Oasis at that point. They did their hits well, but their fucking bass was so loud it was annoying on some songs (esp. Look What You've Done). They were decent though.
Oasis played very well, but you could tell that Noel and Liam were not "on" tonight. Plus, they played a shorter set (only 14 songs, Acq/ ABWR/ GGTIA/ BIOD were cut) and it seemed to go buy very quick. I think the organizers told them to leave early or something, because The Killers also didn't play a song or 2 from their setlist last night. However, the performance was fab, Liam was fuckin cool as ever and sounded awesome. The mic was a bit low on a few songs (notably meaning of soul), but it was ok for me because i knew all the words. Highlights wer Cigs & Alcohol, rock 'n' roll star and my generation.

Noel was grumpy the moment he stepped off the tour bus from Ohio on Saturday morning , refused photos all weekend, had nothing to say to the band on stage and really had it with Liam. He did thank the "beautiful people" at the end of the gig though , or was that Liam ?....
I loved when the Manchester fans in the middle chanted STOP THE CLOCKS and Noel kept asking back WHAT THE FUCK .....

I was there last night too. I was wondering what Noel was asking WHAT THE FUCK to? That's great. That was the best version of MY Generation I think I've heard them play.

Sounds like it was an interesting couple days. I'm guessing one too many pints the night before for Noel and Liam. By the looks of the crowd pic, I'm guessing Noel was a little down (and Liam too) about the sparse crowd as well.
What they should've done was put all the headliners together on one bill, that would've sold out the place - but it appears the promoters got a little greedy. And the promotion it sounds like was basically non-existent.
I just hope the boys remember MSG, H-Bowl, Boston, Toronto, Cleveland, Dallas and some other the other great sold-out (or close to it) shows (I know there are others as well). It just pisses me off that their management put them in situations like this, and like Inland Invasion - which they probably shouldn't have played either. Nothing against the New York ballpark show, it makes sense, but only if properly promoted.
At the very least, I'm also very happy for East Coasters and New Yorkers that you got to see them again! I know it was mega for the real fans!
As Liam said on 'Millions', "Keep the faith and we'll be back!!"

It was great sound, good venue, good crowd (those that showed up) but waaaay to short....they also dropped LBL....Noel had zero interest in being there.
