  I've done it again! He! He! I was walking along Soho today and I spotted Noel on Broadway...I went up to him and asked if "I could PLEASE take a pic w him?". Noel puts his hand on my back, smiles and says "I'd rather not".  I was crushed and heartbroken...Oh well, Noel's always been the camera-shy one so I'm not going to dwell much on the snub.
So, I proceed to walk towards the hotel where they're staying and sat on a bench a few doors down to try and catch the rest of the band. A few minutes later and I spot Starkey w 2 lady friends coming up the block...I ask him nicely for a pic and he oblidges...He even took the pic for us coz I was by myself...VERY nice guy.
Next up was Liam. It was around 7:00 PM E.S.T when I see the whole band come out of the hotel...They were piling into a blue van...Looks like they might be going to check out either The Killers or The Pixies at the Across The Narrows Festival. I approach Liam and ask him for a pic...He squints his eyes at me and then says "I've met u before!" I was sooo dumbfounded that even after all the hard drugs and alcohol this man has done, he still remembers meeting me 3 months ago! So, I say "Yes! U Have!". I gave my camera to Phil (oasis audio engineer or sommat) and he was havin trouble getting us in focus...Liam then goes "Oh just press the fookin button Phil! It aint hard!". Pic is taken and I say my thankyou's then Liam pats me on the back and says "Have a goodnight".

I am a bit dissapointed in noel but he seemed nice enuff about it - AND HE TOUCHED YOU ! I wld take that anyday !
Liam - as soon as I read the first few sentences I honestly knew Liam wld remember you ! that is killer ! what an HONOR and priviledge !!!!!!!
zak - I do so wanna have his baby ! I mean that ! he blows me away on the drums every time !
will wait to hear your review !
I went to baltimore area gig and it was MEGA ! I mean that ! what fucking VIBES ! their last few gigs have been WELL received by madfferrit americans and I think this has been the best thing for RKID !
(I think he got vox advice since the LA Inland Invasion gig and phoenix !)

Hey Queen nice job! dont be mad about Noel. He told us the same thing in philly in June" not doing photographes today" Hes much harder than Liam . i still cant figure how to post my picture...........see U In AC!!!!

was at the McCartney gig at MSG tonight and Wix (Paul's keyboardist) announced that the Oasis boys were in the house. Didn't catch a glimpse of them but be well assured they saw an amazing show.

Well done you, i'm really chuffed for you.
Although, i'm sorry but Noel is getting to be a bit of a dickhead in my book. Grumpy old c*nt, we pay his wages. I'n not saying that he should devote himself to his fans but it would have taken him around 20 seconds to make our Queen a very happy lady. He might have been polite the way he did it but still, well out of order.

Yeah I got fair warning from Webby about how Noel hates taking pics w fans so I wasn't so shocked when he turned me down...I used to be such a Noel girl but now, after havin 2 great experiences w Liam, im shifting preferences!  What I didnt get though is that this is America...Not many people prolly even ask Noel for a pic and he still was being a grumpy old man. I still respect Noel as an artist...I just dont like him much now as a person. |

I totally agree, he is a total genius all round rock god but he could have taken a whole 10 seconds of his time to do what Zak did and hold a camera out and press a button !!! He's going down in my estimation now.
Liam gets bad press but he's lovely really, i used to work in glasgow airport at the check in desks and back in July 02 i checked him and Nicole in for a flight to Dublin and we chatted away and he was lovely and he signed by high visibility jacket that i had to wear on the runway.
And then another time, i was boarding a flight to london and he was there again with Nicole and he asked if i had enjoyed the gigs that year ( we had talked about it previously ) and to take it easy.
I was well chuffed, he puts Noel to shame.

Yves.. yeah gave away stat isle tics literally. I have a presentation at work tmw morning.. it's important so.. I KNEW you wld see them again and knew I was missing this opportunity... ah.. well....  I had a BLAST at the baltimore area gig tho ! It was mega ! NYC MSG I will take that memory to my grave and smile ! I am so proud of our lads this tour and ENDURING critics and faces of opposition over the years ! Fcuk yeah ! SHAKE OUR DEFIANT FISTS IN THE AIR as u say ! Now I know I will meet noel one day and have my 3 sentence thank you speech planned and will ask for a handshake and will kiss him on the cheek the... Noel is getting quite serious as he ages.. I have my theories... Love to hear how lovely Liam is ! he is getting sweeter as he ages I think ! you can go either way.. Nicola - YES I always thought Zak was HOT !

I totally agree with what you all are saying. I met Liam in 1996 at my first Oasis concert. I was 13 years old. He was totally sweet. Signed autographs, posed for pics etc. I was a Noel girl before that, but then became a Liam girl. Backstage in Toronto in 2002, we met Noel and were chatting, and we asked him really nicely if he would have time for a quick picture.. His response was "Acutally.. no I don't." Same thing you said, I respect Noel as an artist, but Liam's #1 with his fans.
