  I was shopping in SOHO today... and was lucky enough to see alllll the guys. Noel looked too grumpy for a photo so I didnt ask. Gem was having a great time meeting with his mate and shopping. He even took time out to talk to me... he told me how fried everyone was from the gig last night. When I asked where they played, it took awhile for him to remember. Then after he asked my name and shook my hand we went our separate ways. Later, I caught a glimpse of Liam doing his classic swagger down the street. When I asked for a photo he was more than willing. He said they had a great gig last night but I had to remind him where they played. After we took the photo he stayed to check the screen on my digi cam to make sure it came out ok. Then shook my hand and snuck into a store quick to avoid a crowd. Today was a good day! |

I couldn't have asked for anything better. They were both soo sweet and willing to take a photo. I didn't think it was possible...but I now have much more respect for them as artists.

you know, it's really weird how much they've changed positions. liam, the man who used to headbutt fans has taken to going into the crowd and hugging people, and noel doesnt even consent to pose for pictures. quite a contrast to when i saw em at the beacon in '02. waited outside the stage door, the rest of the band was happy to oblige, liam came in with quite a few bodyguards and freaked out when some guy hugged him. granted, theres reason to be fearful in his position, but he seems to have done a big 180 in that respect.

i got to meet Liam in NYC in June and he was a blast. A friend and I met him in a bar and spent the afternoon having pints of guiness with him. He was in a great mood and lots of fun, telling stories, etc.
I think it just depends on the mood that you catch them in....

I know for a fact that Liam wasn't exactly having a great day when Wilki & I took pix w him outside their hotel...My friend works in the hotel they stayed at and apparently, Liam's been arguing w Nicole all day. For Liam to be so nice to us even when having marital spats w Nic is just fookin amazing of him! All accounts from fans who have met them, all say Liam is definitely the nicer one. Noel needs an attitude check.  |
