Ok. Oasis wrap up this tour probably early 2006.
Take a year off.
2007
Start mentioning some song titles in mid 2007.
Head in Studio late 2007 and release mid to late 2008.
It was over 3 years since I had seen them on HC tour so I can see that happening.

I think it would be stupid of them to take that long to record. They're on a roll at the moment, they're doing very well in North America in terms of album sales and touring. Why not build on this success?

it doesn't really matter if they don't sell a million copies in america. at this point oasis is getting much more promotion than they did for the las two albums and I guess there's a buzz about them in america. if they release an album quick, let's say mid 2007 would help keeping that momentum.
these last few days I've been thinking that what really bothers noel about making a new album is he has to go and tour in support of it, that means he'd have to be away from his home and family for some time, although I guess he could take sara along and visit anais every now and then while he's touring Europe.
I think they will go back into the studio between november and december 2006 and release the new one in mid 2007. hope's the last thing you lose!!

Why not build on this success? I too wish for a sooner album release but who here dosen't? But i believe if you give noel the time he needs with the record it will just end up being better. As much as I love BHN, that album is the result of a rushed project. |

If they go recording with Kasabian this winter they might get the songwriting bug and enter the studio sooner.

I hope I'm proved wrong, but really can't see a new album coming for a couple years, unless Liam spends a couple weeks in the studio with his 200+ songs to do a solo album (although I can't see that happening until Noel does one first) Noel likes his time off remember - he's really writing from the heart on IOBI!!
