my buddy sandy is a drummer as well as a tech he was working the ACL gig ...he told me that HE SAW NOEL berating LIAM backstage ,he didnt know as to why but he did say NOEL just shook his head in disgust and walked away...i am not saying this is the signs of a major problem ,but they have beem together along time here in the us ,this is generally when the shit hits the fan..fingers crossed it was nothing major..thought i should share that...sandy is reliable and didnt make it out as a big blowout , but we know how these things tend to escelate  |

it was just a joke kalas... thanks for the info... apparantly the lads were joking and laughing during the atlanta gig, so hopefully things didn't get too testy during the ACL performance.

it was just a joke kalas... thanks for the info... apparantly the lads were joking and laughing during the atlanta gig, so hopefully things didn't get too testy during the ACL performance. peace its cool, i didnt take it personal mate..i just thought it was newsworthy . my buddy did not think it was a huge thing either..i will tell you what if you ever want a good job being a tech is a great gig , you get a ton of fringe benefits man  |

thanks for the info kalas!! I just hope that they get along well for the rest of the tour... I guess those days off in october and november are gonna be very important. they've been on the road for a while now without any major bust-ups so let's hope it stays that way

I don't remember any major fights between the brothers during the HC tour??? maybe I'm just wrong but the only problem was the car crash in Indy, right? any way there's still a long way to go specially if the lads are going to toour until february or march. Liam has definetly grown up plus I think andy and gem help to keep things cool, they really seem to be good friends

Liam has definetly grown up plus I think andy and gem help to keep things cool, they really seem to be good friends actually after the germany brawl(liams teeth incident)..noel would not speak to liam ....there are threads on this in past boards here ..noel wouldnt even mention him by name.he said he goes on stage does his thing and leaves...it was a tense time ..he was so incensed liam got into trouble again he didnt speak to him til after the tour |

ahhh.. I see.... thanks for the scoop.. I mean u knowing the guy and all.... 1.) is it true that noel keeps liam at an arms length ever since Liam alluded to Noel not being anais' daddy ? 2.) then in that Q or mojo article this summer they described Liam as the tazmanian devil and noel "the serious one" being chained to him for 11 yrs...GREAT ANALOGY ! 3.) noel had a good point a few years back - he said YOU GO INTO A BUSINESS WITH A FAMILY MEMEBER FOR 10 YRS, THEN GET BACK TO ME ... (UH,, NO THANKS i'LL PASSS.. lol !) CHEERS |

Actually I thought that Noel would be clawing his own face off long before now, so in my eyes, this is a good thing... just think of all the long hours they must be logging on the road together, I don't care how well you get along with someone, you'll eventually begin to get on each other's nerves... especially with the past that Noel and Liam have had. Just give it time to blow over and they'll cool off... especially when the royalty checks from this tour begin to roll in!

Well during ACL I recall Noel laughing about Liam saying something off the mic. Like before Noel started Mucky Fingers or DLBIA they were having words off to the side but they were both laughing. Maybe something happened after the concert but during the show they seemed happy and not bitter at all!
