Isn't it time that they insert a couple of "new" tunes just to try them out. Since the beginning of the tour, they have dumped Love Like A Bomb, A Bell Will Ring, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Little By Little, Songbird.... I had a nice conversation with kalas last nite over the phone and he told me that THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS NOT playing SCYHO live, and I agree... even if Liam's voice has been showing some wear and tear every nite recently (and most understandably so), PUT IT BACK IN THERE... most fans will be singing along and will be so pissed up by that point that I'm sure few will notice he isn't hitting the high notes. Don't get me wrong- - - I AM STILL KEYED UP FOR SI, however wouldn't it BE GREAT if they put in ONE NEW SONG, a Stand By Me, or Stop Crying Your Heart Out, or Who Feels Love, or KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE ANYTHING, that would get us talking all nite instead of the same old same old, and they continue to drop tunes off the setlist left and right... the only one to my knowledge that they have added since the start of the tour is Guess God Thinks I'm Abel. Are we even gonna get 90 MINUTES anymore? As kalas said, with the band now SEVEN ALBUMS DEEP (counting masterplan), what's so hard about adding ONE NEW SONG and giving us something fresh... I don't get it?!?

its the problem i have with OASIS live ..i love them but to be considered a great live act they gotta get a bit daring...the fact that all of us here can tell the person next to him or her at the gig next week what song is coming next just aint right...

i think it's been well documented that the band are well up for trying some new material. the problem lies with liam... if he can't remember the words to Fade Away then what's the point to play it ?
and the boss also said that if he was a fan of a band and went to see them live, just to find out that they had played his fav song the night before but not that night, well he'd be pissed off.
i can see his point.... a lot of us have seen the band live multiple times. so we might not get too flustered if the show the night before had SCYHO. but there are many who only get one chance at it....
according to noel, on the oasisnet webcast that took place before the tour started, we were supposed to be getting some cracking b sides from 95/96.... (ie. fade away, headshrinker, etc) apparantly liam couldn't be arsed to learn the lyrics.... this is definately liam's band.

as sad as it may be i think its true... noel has said liam's memory is absolutely horrible.
i know that you're right Kalas, no band would want to play the SAME set Every night.... it's gotta be liam.

noel has also said that it's unfair to play different setlists on a tour for the fans who only see one show. but i think you guys are right about liam. but, liam's got the words taped to his monitor, so why should that be an issue?

Think of how shitty some poor 21 year old kid who has waited all his life to see Oasis stateside is gonna feel in five days at SI when he finds out that in 20-25 other markets they played LLAB, SB, LBL, ABWR for them but NOT FOR HIM, HOW'S HE GONNA FEEL

And BTW, MAKE NO MISTAKE, Oasis is the GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD, they will always be #1 in my book... I'm just saying, even if Liam's voice is tired, his brain is FRIED, then so be it... Noel: ONE SONG, that's all I'm asking for is ONE SONG to make me shit my pants at SI... Step Out, Idler's Dream, Heart Of A Star, Where Did It All Go Wrong, ANYTHING... Idler's Dream would take only TWO MINUTES to play, but it would be the most powerful thing they could play all nite... in the crisp, chilly Autumn NY air, spotlight on Noel and The Shroud, Noel singing "And as I close my eyes and the sky turns red I realise just what you are"... CAN YOU JUST IMAGINE THAT MAN

HAVE SUCH A GREAT FOLLOWING ON ANY GIVEN NIGHT U CAN HEAR SOMETHING DIFFERENT ..I HAVE SEEN OASIS OVER 20 TIMES ..I LOVE THEM ..BUT LIVE THEY DO NOT EVER SUPRISE ME AND WITH A CATALOUGE AS BIG AS THERES ITS A PITY

I was in Vegas and I kept telling a guy behind me what they were going to play next (he was asking) . When the encore was, etc. I would have gone NUTS if they played supersonic, step out, or something. They were playing headshrinker for a few gigs. Noel himself could sing a couple more. I mean he says he's bored playing meaning of soul and such, switch it up a bit!

i think liam has pretty bad add (attn deficit disorder.) he needs predictability, organization and the song lyrics and front of him and all right ? I think noel possibly wants a highly controlled environment.. for obvious reasons.. just a theory....
yeah all those bands dj listed above I fucking remember writing set lists and all at shows... not mentioning any band names ;D cos they were diff. each nite !!!!!

yeah I thought LTBL and KTDA were gonna be played. it seems like we might have to wait for the next tour which sucks cos it good be 2 or 3 years. If liam doesn't want to learn the words for different song then noel should step up and play some of his. Wouldn't it be great to hear HTWA or Talk Tonight? electric guitar versions for both songs are just massive. maybe he could play whatever like he did in barrowlands in 2001. Maybe the acoustic set should come back. it would also help liam a lot cos he could rest his voice more

I stand by what I said before about how Part Of The Queue would be MEGA acoustic, just Noel and his guitar

I've just seen an Avril Lavigne gig last night and she played an 18-song set and she's got only 3 records.. I just don't get it.. why don't they play at least 22 songs? are they just lazy? everybody thinks their best gig was in Glasgow 2001 know why? coz that's exactly how many songs they should play.

Oasis will be a truly great live band no matter what songs they play - cos of the way they play em.
