Just got back from the Oasis show in Dallas. It was my first Oasis concert, and it was easily the best concert I've ever been to. I have to say that I was worried about whether Liam's voice would be good, but let me reinforce what other people have said by saying that the bootlegs don't do him justice. He sounded phenomenal. Both of them were in great spirits, and Noel was talking to the crowd quite a bit. I'm pissed off though, because I want to see them again and had tickets to the Houston show also which is now canceled.

Hey cabron, soy mexicano tambien. I don't know what is going on with Oasis. It almost made me cry when he dedicated DLBIA to all Mexicans and those of Mexican origin at the hollywood bowl show. At San Diego and Vegas he was throwing the spanish language around here and there. I love it. Then at the KROQ Inland Invasion show he said he wished he was as good looking as a Mexican. When I met Andy Bell He saw my Mexico City shirt and it totaly impressed him.
I suspect Noel is taking a page out of the Morrisey book of fan base. In LA (I can't speak for the rest of the south west) he has a high concentration of Mexcian American fans. If Morrissey books 10 gigs then 10 gigs will sell out. It is a phenomenon. It is a subculture that I don't subscribe to but very strong.

That was my third Oasis show and the best yet! I thought they sounded absolutely great. There were a few funny moments during the concert. At the very end of Acquiesce, Zak messed up on the drums and it caused everyone to quit playing about 5 seconds early. Noel said "Well, I guess that's what you pay the big money for!". He and Liam started making fun of him, so Zak stood up and took a bow. Liam later asked the crowd "Are there any cowgirls here? Are there any cowboys here? OK, are there any COWS here?" When a NOEL chant broke out, he just looked out and said "you love me don't you!" Noel had asked about any cowboys in the audience and not many people responded. He looked out and said "good, cowboy hats are rubbish...I was going to dedicate the next song to all the cowboys, but since there aren't any here, fuck em." All in all, they seemed like they were in really good spirits and they rocked the house for an hour and a half. I couldn't have been prouder as an Oasis fan because I brought two friends with me who going into it thought Oasis "were just alright", but after the show the both wouldn't shut up about how much they kicked ass!!

Funny thing is I had just finished telling my girlfriend that I don't smile in pics. We were in central park prior to running into liam. We took some pics and I wouldn't smile. Now Liam grabs my hand and then wraps his other around it and I was more shocked than anything "can this really be happening?" I told myself. That is why I have a dorky look to me in it. But well I guess only Liam can bring that out.

It's a pic that you will be showing your grandkids, that's for sure!

Liam was in top form and quite the clown too. i was so worried because i had heard his voice was going bad but he was fantastic and so was Noel.
