On Tuesday at around 2 I went to the virgin record store in downtown Denver. I was opening the door for my girlfriend when Liam just happened to walk up right behind her. once i realized it was him, i shook his hand and told him how much i was looking forward to the show. He said thanks and walked in the store. Andy bell and gem were already in the store buying a shit load of DVDs. The workers at the store realized that Liam was in there and put on Oasis over the store stereo. gem and Andy hung out in there for a while but Liam quickly disappeared once the music came on. I have to say that this is one of the coolest and weirdest things that have ever happened to me. i drove all the way from Albuquerque to see this concert and i just so happen to run into Liam downtown,it made my whole trip....

i know, i felt like a dumb ass for not having a camera with me but i had no idea i was going to run in to them. i was looking for an Oasis book in the store to buy so they could sign it but Virgin didn't have one. i was trying to be low key about saying hi so i didn't want to make a scene. i knew he was short but something about seeing him up close made him seem even shorter.

It's a shame for Man City that they have missed his best years.

But I still reckon he is one of the finest finishers ever in the world. In 1995/96 at his peak he was a murderer of team and one of our few things to smile about in the 90's.

Well, you could say Ian Rush was just as good looking at his record, or Shearer.
