Yeah just got back also....Oasis is the greatest live band...there is no doubt in my mind after finally seeing them live for the first time. I have never seen a concert where the entire crowd stands and cheers for the entire set list...shit...90%crowd stood for Jet's entire set list...Jet was also great live. But Wow...Oasis just blew me away...it is rare to have a band that can play as well or better live than compared to the album version.A couple of my friends I took who were casual Oasis fans told me that was also the greatest concert they'd seen...they are hooked now. Also what a great venue...Dodge Theatre...loooked sold out... seats about 4000-5000.

Last night was my fourth time seeing Oasis, and probably the least enjoyable. Oasis were fantastic, of course. But the choice of venue was terrible. I don't know who makes the decisions regarding venues, but Dodge Theatre is like being in fucking prison. Try to stand somewhere other than directly in front of your assigned seat, and you've got concert staff shining flashlights at you demanding to see your ticket. Also, I have to say for all the people out there who bought tickets online during pre-sale: you're fucked. Before the show I met a guy who was trying to find a ticket from scalpers. He ended up just going to the box office and bought a front-row ticket for regular price. I think all Oasis fans on this board understand what I am saying: you want to have a ripping good time at the show, not deal with all this bullshit. That being said, Oasis were phenomenal. Best stage setup and lighting I've ever seen, and the music was perfect. I saw Oasis in AZ in 1995 - they were young and sort of raw. 2000 in Vegas was good, but they had just brought in the new members - somewhat tentative performance. 2002 in Pompano Beach, Fl, was great just for being different - with Noel taking over after Liam walked off. Having seen the various incarnations of Oasis, the one they have now is the best. Whitey can't hold a candle to Zak. Zak really completes their live sound. My Generation was massive. Andy and Gem look like they've always been a part of the band. Can't say enough, really.
