Who will be there? I'm hoping there are some madferit fans because I don't want this to be a boring gig. A bunch of people standing in the field 'going, I dunno what this is? I'd rather have Dave Matthews' or someshit. So who's coming with me?
Oh, AND- Where will the boys stay? Where will they drink. I'm dead set on shaking someone in that band's hand

Cool Goldie/Versus. I just was taking a look at the local weather and a hurricane might be coming towards Texas by the weekend? No joke, Hurricane Rita might be a problem. go to the noaa.gov website. It worries me...

Well, fuck it. If it's raining, that just means less people in the way when Oasis take the stage. The only hurricane that scares me is Hurricane Liam. As long as Oasis still plays...

As long as Oasis still plays... ;D Hurricane Liam, that one's been smashing other bands for more than a decade. I do not care about rain, as long as the gig goes on. We'll just have to be singing Why Does It Always Rain On Me? before the bands play.

5 days... I've never been to a festival, sadly oasis won't play Acquiesce or GGTIA, but I'm positive they will blow us away, including my mate who is a die hard Coldplay fan.

Good news everyone! (Professor Farnsworth walks in the room) I mailed ACL and got this reply: Thanks for writing in. Nothing has changed as this point and we don't believe anything will change for this weekend due to weather. If something happens later in the week, you'll definitely see something on the website. As of the last reports, Rita could hit anywhere from Mexico to Louisiana. And with Austin being so far inland, it would have to take very unique circumstance to cause a serious weather event here due to the hurricane. For now, the show is on as planned and should be just fine. The show goes on rain or shine, unless there's a dangerous event. Just keep an eye on the website for now. Thanks! - The ACL Team www.austincitylimits.com
