Ok, so the main "alternative" radio station here in Atlanta called 99x had this contest running all last week where the prize was a ticket to the Atlanta Oasis show.

It was more or less a general admission kind of thing but you would be right down the front taking pictures of the gig for 99x's website. Anyway, Monday morning was the first day of the contest and I managed to get on the air as one of two contestants. When I called in, the girl answering the phones asked me a couple of questions about Oasis to see if I was a true fan. No problem.

Long story short, it was one of those name that tune kind of things were this twat was more or less reading song lyrics only the bastard must have been super dyslexic or summat and oh did I mention that NON OF THE SONGS WERE OASIS SONGS. Nevermind the fact that it was literally 7.30 in the morning and I was half awake and I pretty much never listen to the radio to begin with.

Anyway, luckily I've had my ticket since April. What a shite 'contest'!

lol, that's funny. i'm here in atlanta coz i'm from new orleans and i'm stayin here until the wednesday after the concert!! i lucked out. i was plannin on doin a road trip with my friend...but he's elsewhere. so i'm just gonna go with my brother. it'll at least be sumthin to take my head off of things for a few hours. but i saw 99x yesterday at this place called Publix. i didnt know if they were a rock station or whatever...but i saw them outside doin whatever it is they do. well enjoy the concert.
