You can hear his voice just gave out. It cracked and then......nothing. He needs to go to a voice specialist and stop being thick about asking for help.

its mnot that we are worried..its that in the UK ITS considered ok..here his antics get them further in the doghouse and eventually will lead to there demise for lack of sales.and lack of support If that happens... too bad for America. I remember the Canadian article from a few days ago where the writer said some things are only accepted by the Americans if the band is American, and he could not be more right. Take Guns N' Roses for example... after not touring in the US for almost 10 years they came back with a tour that: 1) started with a riot (Axl's flight was delayed and he got there at around 10pm, but the promoters had already cancelled the gig) 2) at a gig in Detroit his teleprompters weren't working correctly and at one point he fucked up the lyrics to 'Patience'. That was the last song before the encore... he was so pissed that he left the stage and that was it, no encore. 3) after a wonderful gig at the MSG the band was supposed to play Philly, but the didn't show up. Supposedly Axl had the flu (another band of the member said months after). The show ended in a riot and the tour was cancelled. So that must be the end of Guns N' Roses, you say? Well, check the charts this week, #50 at the moment is the 'Greatest Hits' album, something the band didn't want released and sued the record company to stop. After over one year it's still making the top #50, with absolutely no promotion at all. It has sold over 2 million copies in the USA. So if Oasis is not succesful in America because they are what they are, I say too bad for America. thats not the point ..where are guns now? extinct.....as will OASIS be cause the other members will leave as slash-duff-izzy and matt did...i hate american attitude , my point is not that they are percieved wrong its that eventually they will disband for being sick of the crap

His voice didn't crack or anything, he sang the line "in a CS in the sky" and walked away from the mic... btw I'm pretty sure losing voice was not the reason Liam left the stage.

If that's how you feel then Liam's been a pussy for 10 years... it's easier for you to stop caring than it is for him to change. I could point you hundreds of professional bands, go enjoy them.

Unless my memory is failing on me, people here are upset about the Brussels and Imola gigs. Like I said to you before, the Brussels gig went fine and not one person who went complained about it. There were FALSE reports that Liam was drunk, and there were reports of people who claimed to have talked to him before and after the gig saying he was NOT drunk. But that's not important, let's remember two facts about that night: 1) everyone who paid to see Oasis left happy; 2) 'Don't Believe The Truth' is the title of the new album. Don't Believe The Truth. After that, two gigs in Germany and both went along just fine. Now, the third gig in 3 days. The setlist was changed a little: 12 Rock 'n' Roll Star 13 Wonderwall 14 Don't look back in anger 15 My generation to: 12 Little by Little 13 Wonderwall (acoustic) 14 Dont Look Back In Anger And Liam left the stage. I think the Italians got a pretty decent set from Oasis, but anyway.. there are two possible reasons for Liam leaving: 1) he lost his voice. Should his FANS really be giving him shit for losing his voice after singing 80% of the third gig in a roll? Let's not forget the ONLY person that is really fucked when Liam loses his voice is LIAM. You're all saying how must the other guys feel... fuck them, how would YOU feel if you lost your voice? His voice is all he has, without it he's done with Oasis. Liam knows he will lose his voice when touring, he said that in an interview (when asked what he dislikes more about touring). People then say he shouldn't be singing loud like he does, well... he knows that will hurt his voice, and he knows that's what sounds best, so he does it anyway... for his fans... who then come here to give him shit for it. 2) he got fed up with technical problems and left. Let me ask you, does anyone know how it was like for him to sing with the problems he was having? (if this is the scenario, of course) He kept singing anyway... until he got fed up. He's human, he was getting pissed off because of the problems for almost an hour... I'm sure we all know what that's like. He got fed up, and left, and the fans got 14 Oasis songs instead of 15... big fucking deal. When I was in high school one fucker kept bugging me for 10 minutes and I punched him right in the middle of his face. That was not the professional thing to do, maybe I shouldn't have done it but I got fucking fed up. So I'll say it again, Liam is Liam and if you want him to change... it ain't happening. And I'll say one more thing, if it wasn't for him Oasis would be done by now... and that's not my opinion, it's Noel's.

So if he lost his voice he was supposed to mime all the songs? ;D no man ..the point is at 32 his voice shouldnt be so fragile..there were bigger partiers than him that did not lose there voice 2 gigs into there FIRST TOUR IN 3 YEARS!.....if he cant sing at 32 not even 10 gigs into a tour that he had 3 years to prepare for something is really wrong

They both smoke and drink, they both partied heavily throughout the years. I don't get it. I know Liam used to sing every song on the set back in the day, but Noel always did his acoustic set and did backing vocals.

Question: Would you rather sing more, or let Liam take up that slack? OASIS – Noel Gallagher: I'd rather sing less, to be honest. But Liam needs a bit of a break during touring because he sings so fucking loud. I'd like to sing less, but I'll probably end up singing more, unfortunately. www.oa515.com/inter045.htm
Liam singing like Noel would be shit, but if he did that he could tour non-stop till he was as old as the people you mentioned. He chooses to sing in a way he finds is better at the cost of his own voice.

Some people are more explosive, unfortunately (or not) that's the way it is. If you watched the video you can tell how pissed Liam got, are you gonna tell me you never got like that? And that when you did you were a professional and didn't break any rules and shit?

Guns is not history... yet . Last week I got an e-mail reply from Richard Fortus (current rhythm guitarist): thanks for writing. Yes, i speak to all the members frequently. We are very close friends. I will see Tommy tomorrow night! We are hoping to release the record before the end of the year. Hope to see you soon, richardTommy is the bassist btw I hope the album (Chinese Democracy) comes out this time, everything seems to always go wrong in the world of Guns N' Roses lately. btw: the old Guns is history because of musical differences between Slash and Axl. Slash released an album in 95 under his name (Slash's Snakepit), he wanted that album to be a GNR album... Axl said no, that's shite... the rest is history.
