what to think. one minute i'm hearing people on this slagging oasis off or giving them a bad time then the next minute saying o this album is great. i dont honestly know what's next for oasis i hope they keep going. cos personally i would be happy if they churning albums like HC and DBTT out for the next 10 years so we're talkin 3 more albums. i've got faith in noel i truly think he has a lot of classics in him waiting to be released. i'm not in denile by the way aswell its just what i think. anyone else the same way?

of coarse he's got more classics in him. they'll be fine. i think this album is great and the next one might even be better. people who don't like this one are too busy comparing it to the first two.
- cheers !

Keep the faith, mate. Oasis is in a sort of transition phase now, so you're gonna get some of the die-hards farting on about the boys not staying true to their roots, while others bitch about them losing their edge. The Beatles went through it, and U2 too. Just you wait and see, this period in the bands history will be known as their second coming......

To be perfectly honest I think the album is great, not as good as DM, but in it's own right great. But, how many albums do you know that can stand alongside DM and compare themselves as equals? Not many!
The band now has four song writers, three prominent well established writers in the guise of Noel, Andy & Gem, and Liam, who in my opinion is making up ground pretty quickly. We should be thankful that there is more creative input in the band now, reason being, Noel doesn't have all the pressure of writing album after album, and consequently putting the odd weaker song on to fill the track listing out a bit.
Now I'm not saying that Noel's song writing is a bit suspect, as we all know it isn't, just check out his back catalogue. What I am saying is, now there are different writers, their best songs are likey to bump out Noel's weaker songs, creating a stronger album.
As was said earlier in this thread, this period could be the bands second coming, they aren't the Oasis of the early days who were mates before they were in a band. Let 'em grow, and believe me they will grow stronger.
