I've only given it one proper sit down and listening and so far on this board it seems that Mucky Fingers, Love like a Bomb, GGTIA and Let There Be Love seem to get the most praise and rightly so but last night when i was listening...The Importance of Being Idle jumped right out at me...It's a great song that seems very oasis-like for the simple fact that Noel seems to sing a bit higher in this one...But yeah that along w/ Let There Be Love are probably the two top tunes for me right now...Yours?

the importance of being idle is ace, noels voice is just perfect. In fact all the noel sung songs are great. I really love this album, the only ones I dislike are a bell will ring and keep the dream alive.

I really love this album, the only ones I dislike are a bell will ring and keep the dream alive. I'll never understand why some people don't like ABWR, it's one of the best songs on the album. It's probably the "first impression" from Glaston, where Oasis fans were convinced that everything there sucked. |

Can anybody say Stop The Clocks? haha |

this is a good thread, but it is SO hard to chose ! every song has it's own UNIQUENESS - a story to tell, a feeling provoked.. ! Noel and LIam both did SO well ! (andy and gem too !)

I like it all....least favorite is LTBL. Good song but too slow and should have been one more verse as liam sings the same one!
