how the heck is van morrison on there? weird. Don't knock big Van M the mans a genius, one of the most prolific songwriters of his generation. But i do see where your coming from though you wouldn't of thought Itunes users would know of him. Then again i ain't got a fucking clue about what itunes etc... is sounds like a throat sweet. Cheers doggboy an irrogant dirty old man - his own biggest fan - everyone in his own county hates him - i like browned eyed girl - great pop song - fairplay to the man - but he makes bono look insecure

I'd love to see it as a top10!! People when they log in will check the right column, and see Oasis, many will be like "oh yeah, they were a great band back in the day, I'll have to check this new one out" and hopefully, now that it's in the top 10, it will stay there for a while, because I think that the advertisement on the itunes front page will go away on tuesday when this week's new releases come out (Coldplay, White Stripes, etc). It needs to be in the top 10 to keep advertising it to people when they shop in the itunes store.

^It's gonna have some trouble next week. There are a crapload of new releases. Nonetheless, I consider this quite an achievement.

^It's gonna have some trouble next week. There are a crapload of new releases. Nonetheless, I consider this quite an achievement. Yeah, exactly. Opening week there is always a surge, but what will prove to make DBTT a bestseller in the long run is that it's fooking better than any of the shite coming out next week.

i dunno, just to see the words "Oasis: Don't believe the truth" as a best seller in America, is a beautiful sight by me!

this is great news becasue not only is it selling that well on itunes(and will continue too bc of the advertising being in the top ten give) but it also did fairly well in the actual stores

It's #3 on UK iTunes. Plus Oasis have 4 of their songs in the TOP 100: Lyla, WW, CS and DLBIA. With SCYHO and LBL bordering on the top 100.

True, but every major new release gets one of those captions. Coldplay and Foo Fighters have had those things up for weeks!
