does anyone know if the setlist for these small venues is gonna be the same one for the whole tour ? coz i was kind of surprised that Keep the Dream Alive and Love Like A Bomb weren't being played. Especially how he kept saying "Keep The Dream Alive will be a great live one for years." but i was glad to see Headshrinker....surprising. I was hoping for Fade Away, but i'm not disappointed. well i was just wondering.
- cheers !

I THINK it will be very similiar as they are warming up for the tour and want to get the tunes down pat. i am sure they will deviate a bit but 95 percent of what they do will most likely be the set

So kalas what you're saying is there will be no Keep The Dream Alive? its just my opinion man,i hope they do play it but i have seen smaller tours before from the stones(mega), bruce, the who. and the setlist was very similiar to when i saw them at the big gig. i am sure they will throw in some different stuff but the whole reason bands play "warm up" gigs is to get aquainted with the tunes live so i am sure that most of what is played will be on there

does anyone know if the setlist for these small venues is gonna be the same one for the whole tour ? Noel did some radio interview yesterday morning and said that they would be changing the setlist for the gig tonight. He didn't say how much it would change, but he said that it would change a bit.

I know Noel said to expect a 20+ song set at the MSG gig in the interview a few weeks ago so there'll probably be some variety -- i mean they're playing so many gigs that are pretty close to each other so you got to expect they know a lot of their solid fans will be at more than one show and will want to hear a few different songs

unfortunately, while they might drop or add a song or two for the club shows, I think the setlist you're seeing now is what you're going to get during the summer tour. one of my major gripes about Oasis live is the lack of variety in the setlist. they seem to play a bunch off the new album, then stick with the mainstays, which gets dull in my opinion. I'd love to see them do what Radiohead does, which is mix it up every show. But this will never happen

I'd only want DYKWIM or FIO from BHN and even then I can think of others that I'd prefer from other albums.

in the inet interview noel said the setlist wont change a lot because they dont want to treat fans differently... thay want to give all the fans the same thing in order to avoid some of them being disappointed by what they've heard/seen....

I think they played 2 nights in Boston a couple of years ago, and played every song from every album.

I agree that the set list wont change that much. I remember reading that Noel said that he remembers going to see the Smiths and they didnt play one song, then he found out that the changed the set list and played it the night after and he thought "vaginas!" So thats why the dont change the set list when they tour so every one gets the same...well sorta.

It was in July of 2003, PJ played 3 nights at the Tweeter Center, played 96 songs and repeated one (Yellow Leadbetter) just one time. That's truly mixing it up for your fans. hell, considering the number of songs between albums, b-sides and covers that oasis has, it's crazy that they can't interchange at least one or two songs every night.

That is why I think their live shows are major dissapointments. Same set list night after night. Hands down, the best shows are when Liam loses his voice and Noel has to take over and do an acoustic set.

That was my point when I kidded about Liam losing his voice (it forces Noel to change the songs up and even play an acoustic set. I agree Kalas.. Unfortunaly, OASIS does not change their setlists, but a suprise ever show would be amazing !
