I was at a Chinese restaraunt called P.F. Changs in Bellevue, WA (20 miles east of Seattle) and the music was playing in the restaraunt and then all of the sudden Lyla came on! It wasn't the radio either, it must have been from some CD they give out. Anyway, I was so excited to hear it just sitting there eating dinner!
The End.

Well that is cool, ethanwa! Those are fine moments, to sit somewhere and hear your favorite music.
The first time I heard Oasis was is in a supermarket in France, Clermont Ferand to be exact. It was in the mid-90s and I was there as a young kid and suddenly DLBIA was on the speakers. I remembered that I had strange, but nice feeling in my tummac, it was like yesssssss this is it! Next thing I did was buying DM and WTSMG. Everytime I hear that song I'll have a flashback of that lucky summer in France.

=D yup moments like thsoe are fantastic. esp with oasis, and you realise there is still hope for the people out there!! cos maybe, just as like indiansummer had that moment of realisation in a supermarket....maybe someone heard lyla in that restaurant, and it just clicked!
its a nice thought.
i was very much 'eeee!' when my friend called me up and asked me to switch on mtv. and i was like wtf?? and yeah, lyla was on! i know that dosnt seem like a big deal, but it was on mtv. in ASIA!! it was a really good....well, hyper moment! =)

heard lyla at a resturant tonight as well. people sitting next to us asked me if i knew who it was and i told them oasis. of course they thought they broke up 5 or 6 years ago. ended up having a 15 minute conversation about what they've done the last 5 years and how DBTT is coming out in a few weeks and selling out msg in an hour. after 15 minutes had them persuaded to pick up dbtt and they were even considering getting tickets to a gig this summer.
