well he already said Morning Glory is gonna be played live this year and my guess is that Lyla will be the opening song. And I also believe that he said they were going to do a different cover, but since Zak drummed for The Who that it was appropriate to do My Generation.

im positive they'll close on 'my generation'. 'lyla' is a guarantee. on the webcast he said 8 songs will be played off the new record.
i have my doubts over 'let there be love' being played live. it might become a bit of an elton john gig.

He promised 8 new songs for me, that means they'll exclude Part of the Queue (relies too much on the percussion), Let There Be Love (wouldn't work live) and one of Liams songs, probably GGTIA altho I'd rather hear that than Meaning of the Soul, and play the rest. Noel will probably do 4 lead vocals as he did at most of the 2002 gigs, so IOBI, Mucky Fingers, DLBIA and quite probably Little By Little. Add another 6 new songs to that, My Generation and the givens e.g. Live Forever, Rock n Roll Star etc, and there isn't too much guess work involved.

he also said during the webcast and other interviews that they are practicing Champagne Supernova, Cigs and Alcohol, and Morning Glory.
I really wish that they would do All Around the World. I know that chances are that they'll never play that one live again, but I really like the song and would love to hear it.

Not a chance that they drop Supersonic, Noel's said so himself. They are going to drop Acquiesce.

noel gave some keys to the set list in the webcast, he said they are gonna play 8 songs from the new album, and that theyre going to close with my generation, also that they have played acquise fro 10 yrs, and there are no reason to stop playing it, and they always play live forevere and cig&alc, so the set list probably will be: Rock n Roll Star The Hindu Times Turn up the Sun Lyla Hung in a bad place Columbia Stop Crying your heart out The importance of being idle The meaning of soul A bell will ring Live Forever Keep the dream alive Cigs & Alch Champagne Supernova
Encore Songbird Mucky fingers Dont loock back in anger Wonderwall My Generation

Turn Up The Sun The Hindu Times Lyla Supersonic Cigarettes & Alcohol Morning Glory The Meaning Of Soul Keep The Dream Alive The Importance Of Being Idle The Masterplan Part Of The Queue Listen Up Stand By Me A Bell Will Ring Champagne Supernova Live Forever
Mucky Fingers Don't Look Back In Anger Some Might Say My Generation
That's my dream setlist; based on what's been confirmed so far and that Oasis only generally play 20 songs in a single night.
I don't think Liam's songs would transfer that well to a live setting, same goes for Let There Be Love. They all rely too much on the old acoustics (which, personally, I'd rather they left off the stage on this tour).

I'd probably go with this one
Turn Up the Sun Morning Glory Lyla Bring it on Down Columbia Love Like a Bomb Supersonic Headshrinker (need one unexpected one) Part of the Queue The Hindu Times Guess God Thinks I'm Abel Wonderwall (Acoustic) Dont Go Away (Acoustic) Let There Be Love (Acoustic) Keep the Dream Alive Cigarettes & Alcohol Acquiesce Champagne Supernova The Importance of Being Idle Dont Look Back In Anger My Generation

They played it live at least once - MTV Unplugged. They've played Listen Up a fair few times. If you want a few live versions Noel Gallagher (why did you have to choose that name btw? lol) then just PM and i'll upload some and send them to ya.

I don't think they will actually play it as such though. I think it will blast out over the PA, then the boys walk on and kick off with a belter such as Morning glory, then I'm almost certain they will play turn up the sun. It will be in the first 3 songs anyway.

The bits of gossip I have heard indicate that they will play 11 classics, 8 DBTT tunes, and 1 cover.
The cover WILL be:
My Generation
My best guess at the DBTT tunes are:
Lyla ( A Given) LTBL (New Flag Waver) TUTS (Possible Opener) A Bell Will Ring KTDA IOBI MF LLAB
The following have been mentioned in interviews as classics that will be played:
Acquiesce Cigs & Alcohol Live Forever Morning Glory DLBIA Champagne Supernova Wonderwall (They must play this in North America)
This leaves four classics that are yet to be defined.....
my best guesses at the last four are
Hindu Times (HC representative) All Around the World (mentioned as possible by Noel in an interview) Supersonic (Classic Live Performance) Slide Away (Why not??)
