He sounds good on the album... but Im a bit affraid of his voice on the gigs... he seems not strong enough....very soft and nice, but is that enough to sing in front of thousands people?

i don't know what you all are hearing but liams voice is a shadow of its former self. He sounds like he's straining and struggling to get a lot of those vocals out. And his voice has become more nasal than ever.

I hope the WEAAAATHER is calm...up your STREEEAM. Its all wavery and just shoddy. He sounded his most Lennon on BOADC. I just think his vocals are the worst of any record...

Well, maybe it's the production, but on the 5 tracks I've heard I think his voice is in top form - takes me back to DM & WTSMG.

He sounds as nasal and strained as ever! The early records his voice was just so loose and clean. To compare this stuff to that...man. No way.

I like it! Probably biased though...as long as he's not choking or loosing or canceling a show, I'll be happy with what I get from dear old William! ;D

To compare this stuff to that...man. No way. his voice is nowhere near his old form (maybe it has to do with age, and singing over the years, or maybe all the cigs and booze). does sound a lot like he's straining and at times it sounds like he's in pain. Lets just hope he doesn't hock a loogie midway thru a song at some gig.

I'm going to wait until we hear bootlegs of the first live shows to judge on his voice. I really want to say that Liam has improved, and I hope that he has, but I want to hear his live performance before I come to a conclusion.

I might be crazy, but he really sounds like he's straining to sing the parts on Let There Be Love.

I don't understand why they would put it on the record like that if he is so obviously struggling to sing it. Wouldn't they want to lower the key of the song or something to make it sound better. It's a very good song, and Liam's vocal is good for the most part, but he is obviously struggling on a few of the higher parts.

I'm not really trying to criticize his voice. Maybe it comes off that way, I don't know. It's great on Meaning of Soul. I'm just really worried about it. I want to believe that it has improved, and it sounds like it might have from what I've heard so far, but they are studio recordings. I'm going to try not to judge too much until I hear him live. I just really want his voice to still be good.

I don't want him to have to quit at some point in the future because his voice is shot. He's Liam Gallagher damnit. He's one of the best frontmen in rock history as far as I'm concerned.
and as far as most people here are concerned
