Kalas
You were right on the money. It's been rotating on my mp3 player at my desk (which you're not really supposed to do in the office but this is an exception). maybe not for my employers but for me hahaha.
Ok, Let There Be Love is seriously influenced by the Beatles/Lennon, but you know what?! Why is that such an issue for people? The Killers can rip off New Order and The Cure, Franz Ferdinand can rip off Pulp but when Oasis do it it's supposed to be some sort of crime? Bollocks.
This song is one of the most beautiful songs ever written IMO. It could bring a tear to a glass eye. It's a million miles from the It's A Crime SOTSOG Demo. Absolutely mega. Very very very happy with it.
Meaning of Soul sounds really cool, fast paced and edgy, I dig it at least.
Keep The Dream alive is the All In The Mind of DBTT for me. Great song, not sure it'll be the one I put on repeat 500 times but I happen to like it.
As for Mucky Fingers, bit Dylan, Stones in parts, different direction on the vocal from Noel. I know this comment could backfire on me, but if you listen carefully to the lyrics this song could be deemed as a pot-shot at American Society. I could be way off but hey, we all interpet a song in our own way.
Overall, absolutely delighted thus far. I wasn't so impressed by Be Here Now or SOTSOG, but this leak has got my excited.
Some of these songs will be incredible live numbers.
On the money Kalas, on the money mate!

Kalas
I can't wait to hear what else is in store. The nice thing when you have my opinion is that I'm not clinging to those tracks for dear hope because I thought the leak was a disappointment, I'm busting for 'em because if you say they're a step up from what I've heard? Holy Shit. ;D

Anything that inspires you to get your drink on is good! Unless of course it's to drown your sorrows.
When I lived in the city I used to go to Nevada Smiths to watch footie and hang out & The Parlour on 86th & Broadway to watch the Celtic games.
Miss those places, up in Albany area now.
Getting of the subject sorry! Anyhow, best go get some lunch as half of my break has been spent on the forum. Guess it's the dollar menu, need a quick move here!
Be back around tonight though.
