yeah I completely respect you guys if you don't let it leak but how fucking cool would it be to come have the album on wed... I guess we'll have to wait and see! You'll have to give us a proper review though  |

dunno why we have to wait another 6 weeks for it tho, eh? if they have it all mastered and everything, it can't take that long to get it copied, pressed and packaged then can it? uneless they're just taking a break after recording the album

i will buy it for sure.. although i constantly say i can't wait any longer i don't want it to leak...
i mean... if everyone on this forum hears it before it is out i don't care, because i'm confident everyone here will buy it but the rest of the world, well you can't really know how much people will buy it, but probably less if it leaks(not because it's a bad album....)

it surprises me that we're only... what, 6 week away from the album.. and it hasn't leaked.... the last 2 leaked months before... so.. it all adds up to the leve of excitement we are now seeing

ya I know what you mean, my friend found Heathen in Feb... he burned me a copy. We've both been looking everyday for news on this one... and they've kept it really tight... all the more reason to get us all madferit I suppose.

Well, let's not forget the album will be available on the internet for download anyway, next Wed or May 30 at the latest, and unfortunately some people will not buy it but download it. I don't think an early leak would hurt the sales all that much, if it did the record company would probably be a lot smarter about it. I mean, if they had done their job right this promo would not be available on e-bay period. EDIT: for those who have/will have the songs but don't want to be responsible for the leak I completely understand, but please consider the songs we already heard (ABWR, TMOS). ;D I don't think anyone would be affected in a negative way if we replaced our shitty live recordings with the final versions. |

a) people might CLAIM they'll buy it but then never bother if it's uploaded or think it's not good enough
b) people not from this forum will then be able to download it - if, for example you ahve your files shared in shareaza, or dc ++ or whatever
you're setting yourself up for being partially responsible

oh - and yeah, maybe WE shouldn't have to wait longer but you need to build up hype before you release it - if the ablum were released tomorrow it would NOT do well - most people DON't know it's coming out and most people HAVEN"t heard lyla yet - except for fans - it's like in the top ten on what 4 radio stations? it needs time...

i think the good majority of us will download but then buy it anyway...many of us have all the singles/albums/dvds so not buying it really isn't an option
