Yeah, I never saw him doing anything but barre chords. Guess Noel didn't let him do anything else, not even normal ones, he always did the A's up in the 5th fret, kind of weird, but wtf?

I have this book about Oasis & there is a quote from Noel talking about Bonehead, "I just tell him 'If I see that index finger come off the fretboard, you're fucking fired.' He's got to play barred chords." I don't know if that's a true quote or not, it's one of those "unauthorized" books. |

He played "normal" chords on the chorus of Some Might Say most of the time. But that might be the only time.

Christ he looks OLD.
Personally I'm glad Gem replaced him. He plays better, contributes songs himself, gets the best out of Liam creatively, and just looks cooler! I think Guigsy and Bonehead were top men but they were ultimately, let's face it, double lucky chancers.

Sounds enough like Noel anyway. I almost thought that myself, but no. You can tell it's recent, and he looks a little fat in that first photo, but he's taken 5, 7 years better than a lot of other people I can think of. |
