Video mobile operator 3 said today that it has teamed up with Sony's UK record label to supply full-length audio tracks directly to customers on its network. According to 3, customers will be able to access music from all the artists for which Sony BMG UK has mobile rights, including Destiny's Child, Britney Spears, Usher, Charlotte Church and Oasis.
The songs, along with current releases from Jamiroquai, Jessica Simpson and Foo Fighters, will also be available on 3, in addition to the entire Sony BMG UK catalogue.
Bob Fuller, chief executive at 3 UK, said: "Our customers are telling us that they want to be able to download music tracks directly to their phones and our focus now is on extending the choice that we provide."
The agreement extends 3's existing entertainment offering which includes videos from Sony BMG, audio tracks from EMI Music UK and tracks and videos from independent label artists through VidZone.
Sony BMG represents more than 1,000 artists worldwide and sold over 90 million albums globally last year.

people who pay for ringtones are retarded (no offense ) There's an easier way to get them for free. Find or put a midi file of what you want online, and access that website address using your phones WAP browser. It'll automatically download. I have a nice picture of Lennon, and a legend of zelda(i'm a big nintendo nerd ) ringtone right now, all free.
