Liam Gallagher has said that Babyshambles will never support Oasis ever again after Pete Doherty failed to turn up for one of their gigs.
The Oasis front man angrily told Spanish newspaper El Mundo: “That’s where the relationship ended. What we’re not going to do is give him a second chance.”
“It’s not a question of professionalism. It’s much more simple than that. This is the greatest group in the world and what we’re not going to do is let anyone, Pete Doherty, Liam Gallagher or Elvis, fuck it all up.”
At the time of the concert Doherty claimed that he was stranded in Paris where he was attending the birthday party of friend and fashion designer Hedi Slimane. Babyshambles were eventually replaced by The Zutons for the support slot at Milton Keynes

We sure gave Liam alot of second chances!!!!!!
If it wasn't for Noel a lot of gigs would have never happened.
Maybe Pete needs a responsible older brother!

Fair point, but Liam was never a total smackhead, and lets face it, for every Liam fuck up there was a dozen great performances, for every Doherty good performance there's been a million fuck ups. As far as I'm concerned these Oasis gigs and Live8 were his last chance to make a go of it on the big stage and he's blown it! |

im probably 1 of petes biggest fans on here (in fact any where!) but even i belive pete dosent deserve another chance supporting oasis! that said liam is a fine one to talk, he may never have been as bad as pete but hes still ruined his fair share of gigs through his lack of profesionalism. but i feel this is driffting from the point a little as i hold them both in the highest esteem imaginable, i love the chaos and unpredictabilaty these people bring to our lives if every "rock star behaved like chris martin the world would be a very boring place....LONG LIVE THE GREAT BRITISH ANTI-HERO!

If that is a serious question, Babyshambles the band Pete Doherty is now in and they were due to support Oasis in Southampton a few weeks back but they never turned up as Pete Doherty was in France having a row with his super model girl friend Kate Moss. I'm sure other people on here can tell you more about them. Did anybody see babyshambles support Oasis? If so what were they like? When i saw Oasis in Milton Keynes on the 2nd night, The Coral supported and were very good. |
