if you go to the rolling stone website there is an interview with david grohl of the foo fighters. he's already said severl times that he's a fan of oasis, but in the interview he mentions them without even being asked about them (cos of course rolling stone wouldn't mention them if they didnt have to). you can go straight there here: www.rollingstone.com/news/story/_/id/7483596/?pageid=rs.Home&pageregion=single2towards the end he is asked about tensions in foo fighters. he says that he doesn't believe in the whole myth that "tension produces results." he then says that he doesn't believe noel and liam hate each other but that "they only make good music because they love each other." i bet this might of shocked the interviewer cos RS seems to be pretty anit-oasis. |

About what Dave said about the dressing room thing...
This is very true, in fact it stats IN HIS CONTRACT that he will not share a dressing room with a band unless it is Zeppelin or Oasis.
I think this can even be found online somewhere, try searching for Dave's contract

Top guy, I absolutely love some Foo's songs, but for me their albums never quite cut it far above average, plenty of classic rock tracks but always a few poor ones. Anyone who can write songs like Everlong, Times Like These, Learn to Fly etc is fundamentally ok with me though. Can't wait to see them open for Oasis in Cardiff!

what is it with the rolling stones mag not liking oasis anyway?
for a magazine oasis are a great band cos they are always getting into trouple they are very newsworthy

i don't think rs has liked oasis since they were on the cover... from what i know noel and liam just walked out while knocking over chairs in the middle of the shoot. and if u read the article it was pretty much all about how oasis were supposidly jerks and had very little about their music.
