NOEL GALLAGHER's former lover MELISSA LIM has slammed the OASIS rocker for failing to publicly credit her with inspiring the title of the band's best-selling album, (WHAT'S THE STORY) MORNING GLORY.
Lim had a brief relationship with the LYLA rocker in 1994, after he dramatically went missing during a Los Angeles performance.
But the pair's long-distance relationship ended after Gallagher returned to the UK and met his future wife MEG MATHEWS - who he divorced in September 2000.
She says, "I was looking out for Noel as he was burned out and telling me that he's had enough of the band.
"What he needed was to have a proper meal and dry out for a few days and talk things through."
She adds that she played a pivotal role in Oasis' future success by penning the famous 1995 title, "During one of our transatlantic phone conversations, I greeted Noel with, 'Hey, what's the story morning glory?'"

That's nonsense.
I don't think anyone needs to be credited with that. One line in a song became inspired, thus inspiring the track's title, thus ultimately defining the record.
I do believe that that woman should just be happy to herself about it.

"What's the story, morning glory?" is a line from the American musical 'Bye, Bye Birdie.' That bitch had nothing to with the origination of that line. If she said that to Noel she was quoting that stupid movie.

Well she just probably wants proof when she tells her friends she's the inspiration behind it. Noel's said it was inspired by something an American said on the phone before.

Going by this woman's logic.
Noel should credit his English teacher at school and every person who he has ever spoke because they have all helped Noel with words he has used in his songs like "and", "the" and "live".

in an interview noel did around sotsog i believe he was asked where he got the title and he said an american fan on the phone greeted him by saying exactly that.
there ya go, maybe she's not lying.
