In the new issue of Q Magazine Brandon Flowers is discussing his new album and he says that one of the new songs sounds like Oasis..."it could rescue their career", he says.  I though he was supposed to be an Oasis fan?? I wish Liam smashed his face in.  |

not entirely his fault. he's living in america yeah? although oasis have been getting quite good press there lately with dbtt...
and anyway, not like his band is that big! (are they? not as far as i know sitting here =S) they only have one album, so have a lot more to prove. not vaguely comparable to oasis -.-
that said, i quite liked hot fuss
he's just being be a twat, attempting to copy liam and give a bit of lip

FU.CK 'EM I say. I saw them OPEN for Morrissey back in April 2004 when they were still UNKNOWN and I will admit to liking a couple of their tunes I was not a fan though. Then the more and more I heard of them AFTER that gig I didnt like them at all.
Yeah out here in the states their pretty big AT THE MO. but, if it wasnt for that Morrissey gig they would still be loosers, then a couple of months later I hear the lame ass singer slagging Morrissey off, thats when I decided they were total assholes.
A friend of mine keeps telling me how good they are blah blah blah but, I just dont feel their whole "Hot Fuss" vide. Now theyre even trying to trash Oasis. The Co.cks!!
Well see how their 2nd or 3rd album goes.

i can't wait to hear it. i wonder which song they ripped off? At Glastonbury they were interviewed about it and they said that they had the new record playing and loved Mucky Fingers and wrote the tune after that, so I'm assuming it's Mucky Fingers. They also said they loved the new record so I think he was just joking. |
