The DJ said Oasis are like so 10yrs ago man and was going on about how their not a rock band, and they couldnt play Lyla because they lost to Static-X in a competiton they had on their station. He told me how it would be illegal for him to play the song!!! What a bunch of bullsh_it!! I tried explaining to him what a great ROCK band Oasis is and how they sold out the Garden here in the states. And he tells me how arrogant the lead singer of the band is!!!! Can you believe this?! This is why I'm going back to sattellite radio again. In case any of you were wondering this is the website of the radio station I'm talking about... www.967irock.com/Don't bother requesting the song, cause there's no way to request it unless you want to call them!!

Static X -- what a joke. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Ask the DJ: "If they are so 10 years ago, why do they have a top 20 rock song, have the 11th most downloaded rock song on iTunes, and are playing a huge tour here in the U.S.?
But again, Static X!?!??! What a complete joke.

um ... i don't think that's the type of station to be carrying oasis from the look of the website alone.
regardless, they do need to get rights to play oasis. the radio station has to pay to play. the exception are college stations.
