The Book of British Hits Singles and Albums put out by the Guinness World Records has declared Oasis as the Most Successful Act of the last decade (1995-2005). Oasis has held the #1 spot in the album and singles charts for 766 weeks in total during the past decade. Their single “Lyla” is currently #1 in the UK and Japan, and is #2 in Italy.

Oasis is also #28 in a list of the Top 100 Most Successful Acts of All Time. The criteria of which is total weeks on the UK Album & Singles charts.
