Where's Ian Brown when we need him? He'd sort this one out in a minute!
The Royal Family = relics, just a symbol of injustice.
As for the Head of the Armed Forces thing, what was the Queens opinion on Iraq. Does anyone know, does anyone care?
The fact is that The Royals could do a lot of good with the amount of money they've been born with, and the education they can afford money and time-wise. Because they need not work. Yet it seems they are actually not doing much.
One point about studying. Teachers and professors are human beings, aren't they? So why not find your own way, these days it's perfectly plausible to choose your own authorities.
There are lies, bigger lies, and statistics. In a room with ten economists there's ten different opinions on how the economy works.

I never understood the backlash to Noel's visit at 10 downing. Noel only went there to have a fookin beer with the PM. It's not as if Noel is a political hack like Springsteen whose incoherent campaign speechs damaged his artisitic credibility- not that I think much of the boss anyway. Basically, it's just the press getting worked up because Noel is a not a leftist wacko. The press would far rather see Noel as a left-wing zealot spouting useless, outdated Marxist sentiments. Guaranteed Oasis' credibility woyuld rise if this were the case.
