i wouldnt be so sure theyve never had a number one single in UK, and seen as loads of people have already downloaded it (officially) it may not hit the top spot

I wouldn't be surprised. Speed of Sound is a really weak track. Wonder if the b-sides are worth, if there is any...

i guess the fate of coldplays single depends on how much airplay it has got and still gets..i heard that lyla is on heavy rotation in the UK, so is speed of sound here in germany..radio stations in germany rarely play lyla however the video is constantly on the music telly
(it's actually one of the few rockvideos that are being shown for at least 2 weeks..thx to 50 cent and his lot)
