Anybody know how many copies you need to sell to get in the top 40, or top 100 even? If someone picks a single of the shelf, thinks about buying it, then puts it back, it gets in the top 100. |

when i went into HMV to buy my copy i asked where the crazy frog was and the woman behind the til said "its been put back a week because they want it to get to #1 and it wont when oasis and the blackeyed peas are released on the same day"
i can honestly see the frog being in a top 3 with oasis and coldplay next week, how sad, oasis and coldplay slumming it with the frog!!! ;D

I Wonder if you save up about £30,000, you could go and make a cheap demo cd, print off about 2000 copies, get some independent record store to officaially stock it, then go in and buy all 2000 copies of it, get a top 40 hit, get interview, go and smash all journalists in the face, get caught with a needle in your arm, fight with your band on stage, and there you go, your a rock icon! EASY!
