X96 is the biggest, well, really the only Alternative Rock station in the state, and they've finally started to play Lyla consistently, which may not be that big of a deal to some of you, buy maybe it should be considering this station rarely, rarely, rarely plays Oasis. They introduced it on either the 5th or 6th of April and it didn't get a huge response, which isn't shocking because Utah taste in music is absolutely horrid. The only reason they would have brought it back, TEXT, not to mention Wonderwall thrown in as well, is if it was doing very well with bigger stations in bigger states. Especially considering this station plays a lot of The Used, My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails, and isn't necessarily ideally suited for Oasis, and Lyla in particular.

I would have asked for this site to e-mail the station and request it earlier, but I honestly never expected them to play it this consistently. Maybe it's just me, but I think this shows Lyla is bigger than some people would like us to believe.

Also as a bit of a sidenote, there is a newer station in Salt Lake City (99.5), without any DJ's, they are run solely on requests, and I've heard them play Oasis - Wonderwall, CS, DLBIA - at least a dozen times, so I was just wondering if there is anyone else from Utah on the board, as Oasis seem to have a bigger fan base here than I thought.
