It is nice to see an Oasis fan win MVP in the NBA plus he is canadian too. Yes Steve Nash is an Oasis fan, he gets made fun of his Oasis style hair all the time. He is even quoted as saying that the Behind The Music of Oasis is the funniest thing he has ever seen.

It is the National Basketball Association's Most Valuable Player. Steve Nash is a white canadian player who beat out Shaq a huge black american player, Shaq is one of the most dominating players of all time.

i love nash!! i'm a fan of shaq as well.....he's hilarious. but nash is exciting to watch play. him and ginobolli (?.....the spurs guy).

Didn't know Steve Nash was an Oasis fan. Well, it just adds more to his awesomeness. It was great that he won MVP, Canada is very proud.

A year or two ago I read that Nash's favorite band is Radiohead. It doesn't surprise me that he is an Oasis fan also.

i dont understand where canada gets off claiming nash. his mom and dad are welsh and english, so hes ethnically british. he was born in south africa. and moved to canada later.

Got this off the web... it usually pops up in the back of ESPN the magazine. DP is Dan Patricks a sports caster for espn and SN is of course steve nash
DP: Have you ever been mistaken for one of the Gallagher brothers of Oasis?
SN: I hope not.
DP: Those guys are punks, by the way.
SN: Well, one of them is a punk, for sure.
DP: They take themselves just a little too seriously.
SN: Yeah. "Oasis: Behind the Music" was one of the most comical things I've ever seen in my entire life.
DP: So you've never been misidentified as one of the Gallaghers?
SN: I've heard it from time to time: "Oasis, man." But no.
DP: How do you respond?
SN: I'm like, "Right on."

I'm ukrainian but I don't say I'm from the Ukraine, I say I'm Canada. his brother and him bothplayed our national team (his brother played for our soccer team). So he is Canadian!!!! |
