live forever is his favourite! He says on the live forever documentary about britpop, and when asked what its about he says 'living forever man!'

liam always says he hates wonderwall. his favourite song is live forever. I dont believe he hates wonderwall!! Heard an interview with noel years ago and he said that he gave liam a choice, he can either sing on Wonderwall or DLBIA, not both.....liam chose wonderwall. |

noel changed that story around a bit. He said there was a fight over Wonderwall in one interview. He always likes to twist up stories.

no one heard the documentry on radio 1 a year or so ago. it was mark ratcliffe going back on their 10 years and there were interviews etc.. and liam said he didnt like wonderwall.

I guess Liam likes everything from DM and BHN and thinks everything else is crap - including all the songs on DBTT. Thank God he doesn't speak to the media, if he did they would have a field day. Thankfully, Noel does all the promotion.  |

i dont know about his favourite oasis songs, but 2 of his favourite songs are Natural mystic by bob marley and I am the ressurection by The stone roses.

i read somewhere during the HC era that Liam thought Little By Little was absolutely mega, considered it the best Noel had written in years, but it was out of his range vocally
i've also heard they made a demo with him singin it...

I don't know about Liam's absolute #1 favorite Oasis song, but I remember reading an interview with him around the time of SOTSG where he said "Stand By Me" from BHN was one of his favorites, believe it or not.
Well, actually, I'd believe it. I've always liked that tune. But I remember the interviewer didn't really believe him, and Liam said he was sick of people putting down BHN, and that "Stand By Me" was one of the best songs Oasis ever did. Wish I could remember where I saw it. I just remember he listed his 5 favorite Oasis tunes, and "Stand By Me" was one of them ("Live Forever" and "Acqueisce" were in there, too, but I don't remember the rest).
If it's true, it might explain why "Stand By Me" was the only song from BHN that I saw them play when they toured behind SOTSG (I guess they were playing "DYKWIM" earlier in the tour, but they had apparently dropped it by the time I saw them).

If you're saying Stand By Me... then how about Don't Go Away, it is probably the most emotional song Liam has sung... he must've put a least a bit of emotion into it...
well, I hope I have evidence to back me up that this is one of his favs, but I don't... however, when you listen to the song, you can't help but felt the magic

Don't Go Away is without a doubt (maybe Songbird moreso) the most beautiful song Oasis has done.
"Forever and a day" is awesome.
