Actually my first thought was that Gem written this. After all he's Colin *Gem* Murray Archer...
Yet, I think that there will be a secret track on the album. And I want this track to be "Stop the Clocks" if the song isn't already put with the title "Importance of Being Idle"...

So excited - though 2 points of pesimism:
1. Noel and Colin Murray are supposed to be good mates
2. Colin Murrays favourite album of 2003 was the Bandits and they split after its release and disappointing sales (I loved it as well though)
Still tres excited anyway ;D

on an unrelated note - who is already starting to get annoyed by people saying "don't believe the truth" when you should be sceptical.
I mean yeah, it's kind of clever - though essentially it's the same as that old greeK (?) tale of the Greek (or maybe it was a Cretian) saying "all greeks are liars" but still...I feel like it's going to get really annoying soon.
anyway - yeah new album propaganda - taht definitelly does soudn like propaganda - I mean, I hope this new album is good -but I really doubt that it'll be that good (judging by what we've heard so far) and this guy just seems to have be infatuated and unable to see the truth - it's like listening to a U2 fan's review of their latest album - it's crap but they can't seem to think why - ACTUAL reviewers rarely slut themselves out to bands like this

my dad works at the record company and i got to hear the new album on tape today!!! its great!!! the last track "let there be love"is probably one of the best song!!!! it has noel and liam on vocal..and its abosolutely awesome. such a great song!!!! and the rest is great too... noel's vocal is sooo good. like "the importance of being idle" is a coool song. still, i cant wait the album to be out!!  |

It sounds promising, but then a music writer who's a mate of Noel's would always give the new album a good write-up.
The believing is in the hearing - can't wait, hope we won't be disappointed.

Bono threw a fuckin fit, kicked up a stink until he was allowed to record it so his version would end up on the single. Wot wiv it bein the most importantly line on the track, his monstrous ego needed to be fed. Fuck it being for charity - he saw that as about him. What I don't get is that whenever Noel talks about Bono, he is praising him and talking about how cool he is, but Bono seems to be everything that Noel is against. Maybe Bono is someone totally different in private. Who knows.
