Do you think they'll cover a new song for the next tour or stick with My Generation... what would you like to see them cover?

Waterfall (The Stone Roses)
Town Called Malice (Paul Weller/The Jam)
Deja Voodoo (one of Gem's old Heavy Stereo songs)
(there's more but i can't think of them at the moment)

definetly agree with dixon, sally cinnamon is a song i can visualise liam singing
saw brownie perform it in leeds last year and my was i mesmorised by it..

I'd be suprised if they dropped My Generation, if they do then I'd expect them to bring I am the Walrus back.

During the SOTSOG tour, I saw them sing Hey Hey My My in Atlanta. It was awesome.
I'd like to see them play Helter Skelter this time.

Comfortably Numb. Would be great because it doesn't jump right off the page but when you think about Noel doing it it would be amazing.
Town Called Malice would be devine.
I've also had a strange craving to hear them take a stab at Iron Man but they probably shouldn't take me up on it. ;D

i know noel loves floyd, so it's inevitable (he even talked about doing a cover of 'nobody home', from the wall). if that's the case, i'd love to hear 'fat old sun', which i think they could pull it off with their own twist.

An Oasis version of a Floyd song would be really strange... Cause Floyd is such laid back music, and most of Oasis's are upbeat (or acoutstic, which wouldn't work for Floyd)... I'd love to hear an Oasis version of something like Wish You Were Here... But that doesn't seem like a song they'd cover... I can see them doing Another Brick in the Wall though... |
