Both are good and top songs on the album but, a bit too formulaic to me. In a pinch I'd pick Don't Go Away because Liam's vocal breathes some special magic into the song.

But on that album, Magic Pie is the stand out for me. Goof ball and attitudinal with something unique to say though it's hard to say about what.

"I dig his friends, I dig his shoes..."

Don't know what it means but, somehow I get that totally.
