Noel Gallagher blagged it in to the Comedy Awards with Ricky. He told us Oasis have finally completed their next album:
"It's finished, should I give a release date? No, I shouldn't, it's some time in May and there will be a single in March."
"The only thing I was worried about was whether in the end we'd know how good it was because we'd recorded it three times and I think it's great."
"We shot the cover today, and I think it's great because I designed it."

For Heathen Chemistry I held out and held out but everyone was saying how great it was. Started out only d/l SCYHO and BOADC, but then before I knew it I had the whole thing. Then July 2nd rolled around and it was mid day before I bought the cd. Couldn't be bothered since I already heard it 1000 times.

I will try as hard as I can to wait. I am sure after last time, that they will do all they can to not have it leaked.
I will buy it anyway. I hope they do a statewide tour. I'll travel to see them anyway.

yay! nice to finally hear it completed, and i'm sure it'll be great cos they have been so perfectionist about it, what with recording it 3 times and all...but can i ask why wait till May? i mean what type of stuff do they need to do that will take 4 months?

i'm sure it'll be great cos they have been so perfectionist about it, what with recording it 3 times and all I don't want to be so pessimistic about it but isn't the most common complaint about Oasis albums that they're overproduced? It seems like usually the less time they're in the studio, the better received the songs are. But, I hope I'm wrong. Probably they just need time to promote the album in general. And the first single will be out in March, so they want that to be on the radio for a while. |

It could be...Gem's working with NIN....Is a double headliner tour coming so he can play with both bands live? That would be unreal. Stranger things have happened...NIN toured with David Bowie....Oasis toured with The Black Crowes |
