Hey all Dutch and Belgium mates ! It's been a while since we had a proper Oasis gig in the Benelux (for non Benelux people, Benelux means Belgium/Netherlands/Luxumbourg). Let's all make scream out on this topic for some Oasis gigs in Holland, Belgium and Luxumbourg. Oasis is still hot enough to have some good filled hall gigs up here. Now they'll ave some gigs in the UK and like always, i guess they'll do an European tour also. I think the benelux deserves some Oasis gigs again. Let's shout it out loud ! (they might notice us  ) |

Yeah!!! Totally agree. The crowd's always going wild when our kids are playin'. (Den Bosch and Utrecht, anyone?) They're constantly screaming, and, have never bottled them offstage... Except for Pinkpop for a while. But when Liam came back he gave a fuckin' good show. GALLAGHERS DON'T FORGET THE KAASKOPPEN! (of mannekes pis voor de belgen)  |

I guess we're all dutch till now on this topic. I'm not sure how big Oasis is in Holland on the moment, but I somehow got the feelin' there are some young kids (next generation oasis fans i guess ) who start listening an luvin Oasis. Still i believe if Oasis brings out a good album this year, which includes some good charttopper(s), then sure they can fill the HMH (Heiniken Music Hall) and maybe the Ahoy. don't get me wrong i'm a massive dutch Oasis fan, but people in holland like coldplay keane and maroon 5, not Oasis

Right gotta agree. Most of us suck when it comes to music. Liking hiphop and stuff, and commercial bands like Maroon 5. Coldplay's pretty good actually. |

yeah coldplay is great and maroon 5 have also some good songs but the people don't like oasis anymore because they don't have that kind of commercial songs anymore just look at england they are mad fer it man every single that come's out in england is a a chart topper man  |

Well, the fact that there a quite a lot Dutch people on this forum surprises me. I guess Oasis has quit a big bunch of fans up here. Some of them are the "Mad fer it-fans", and some of them are like "Well, they are fokin cool - aldo it's not my favourite". The last catogory is quite a big one for sure. I know a lot of people who do like Oasis. And by the way ... Look at bands like The Strokes. They are not as "hot" as Coldplay or fokin'Maroon 5 or like that, but they have filled the HMH easily last year. The Strokes aren't that big and I guess Oasis is much more well-known in Holland. For me that's a reason to believe Oasis could do that too. I'm sure they can fill the HMH. Maybe even Ahoy. De Kuip is i guess a bit to big for them at the moment. But ya know, if Oasis brings out some "poppy"-songs ... I guess the coming up album and this singles will be a big factor in all this. Heathen Chemistry was a failure in Holland, only the Hindu Times were on the telly at the time, and reached number 18 or something in the Dutch chartlists. But remember SOTSOG. Go Let It Out was quite hot. I think when Oasis brings out a proper album which includes some songs which are accessible for a large group of people, Oasis will be respected like Coldplay is up here in Holland. Till now, the most people up here are a bit tired of the Oasis sound after BHN. Oasis some how have to come up with something fresh. And by the way ... Oasis really has that "the new/second Beatles"-image up here. Since already some time ago, they don't bring out much like on WTSMG, which was poppy, fresh and those videoclips very "Beatle". After a while i guess they need to bring back that "beatlething" and that "look, I'm british" thing. That will make a difference with al those bands at this moment. I wonder whether or not Oasis has the same idea ... HEY GUYS, DON'T LET US DOWN, JUST GIVE US A GIG UP HERE !!!  IT"S JUST ROCK 'N' ROLL !!!  |

You did your homework. Yes I think your right but ye know, Oasis doesn't care what people think of 'em they just want to do their own thing, which is great ofcourse but I'd like them to become popular here again so that I can listen to something on the radio than Zij gelooft in mij, Viben/Loungen, Zinloos and stuff 'cause it damages me ears.  And so we can enjoy another concert. If there's one in Germany I'll be there too as long as it's close enough. PS. I'm Mad fer it  PPS. Cheers mates |

guess we'll ave to wait for furter dates. They better visit all european counties at least once, coming up tour, they'll make all Oasis fans in Europe very happy with that. We'll see ...
