I went last night round to Village studios on Butler and Santa Monica Blvd in Santa Monica. That is where they WERE mixing the album, they did some recording over at the Capital studios in Hollywood. Well, anyways. I spoke to the one of the "hands" at Village and was told that "they finished mixing on Saturday and flew back to England the same day. He said he talked to a girl that works also there and was friendly with Jason Rhoades, she said Jason told her the album is done with the exception of a photo shoot and compilation for an album sleeve and presto NEW album out in 2005.

i doubt the lp is done i think it makes more sense that they did everything they could in la and now will take it back to england 4 the finishing touches (backing vocals,overdubs, final mix) the chief said may and i cant see them sitting on it for 6 months risking internt leaking like HC.I COULD BE WRONG ,JUST MY OPINION

Almost... Heathen Chemistry was out July... Not to mention the time the album was leaked. As far as I recall it was May 2002, so it's exactly 3 years gap if this album isn't leaked. I want another record. Too long we've been waiting for only one record. Not a double LP... Back-to-back albums is what I want, for fuck's sake! Like Radiohead did in 2000 and 2001 with Kid A and Amnesiac...  |

i hope the new album dusnt leak proper spoils the anticipation i agree rob ,,but unfortunatlly it seems like every major band has there new stuff leaked. the upside is if the lp is done soon they may move up the release date to avoid internet piracy like most bands do today ,,so we may get it earlier |

yeah but Kid A and Amnesiac were both dissapointing! exactly!!,,the way OASIS are nowadays NOEL AND LIAM need a break from each other( in a band sense) or they may have 1 to many bust ups,,the way it is now is ideal 4 them they tour 4 like a year to support the lp tensions mount,, they take a year off to just be brothers again then regroup to write and record which takes like another year or so ,, so 1 lp every 2 or 3 years is better than a bad lp or a break up |
