Wonder what would happen if the next album is the best thing they have ever done and is full of classics!!
Do you think it's possible that oasis could be as big as they were around 95-97? ;D Or could they get bigger??

THEY can still be huge and sell millions of records but now they are rock royalty and back then they were just 5 lads from manchester the atmospere of BRITPOP can never be matched just be happy to have expierenced it I WAS AT KNEBWORTH i flew from nyc for it and its still the best moment i have ever expierenced(non sexually or my girlfriend will KILL me if she reads this )

The album will be amazing, i have faith on that. but noel said it: "GOOD TIMES DONT MAKE FOR GOOD MUSIC". back time they were 5 broken lads from manchester, which the only thing they had was music, the first cd is a different atmosphere, and now, they live in their big mansions with their big cars and their big rings. they still can get out some classics, but not have the same impact as in 94-95.. i still think the new cd will be amazing and will blow my mind!! i trust noel.

it would have to be truly amazing album to get anywhere the succes they had in the 90's. I think oasis are very much a love or hate band and the people that dislike them would take some convincing.

they can never get those early days back again!
thats just the way it is with rock n roll. you do all your good stuff when you are young.
then they all hit 30 and start thinking about offshore tax dodges and their health plans.
the last album was the best in years but never expect to see another deffo maybe from oasis.
mind you, elvis proved them all wrong with the 68 comeback concert. pure class!

I hope I think I know the next album will be better then HC. HC has exept from a small number of songs been a failure. The album didn't sell as well as the other albums, and even the most fans weren't that satisfied with this album. It really isn't gonna be another DM or WTSMG. If it will, then it's gonna be a wonder ! But I don't think so. The thing I hope for is that it's gonna be a fresh new album with some new cool refreshing Oasis songs. An album which could mean a comeback for Oasis. Like U2, RHCP, Aerosmith and other famous bands had at the time. I believe Oasis is at least as big as those bands, and I believe Oasis will make such a comeback. The question isn't IF but WHEN it will happen. Maybe the next one, let's hope so ... Our patience will be awarded, that's what I love to believe. But on the other hand, let's be realistic. WE WILL SEE .... let's pray to a god we've never seen for a Oasismania !!!

Ok this got me thinking.. Can OAsis really earn more respect from making another album from anyone other than us fans? As someone else has said Oasis are very much you "love them or hate them" band and anyone who is not into them now after DM and WTSMG will not be swayed by a new LP. The press seem to have turned on Oasis since their peak and people are always quick to say "i loved their early stuff" to me. Do you think they have gained new fans from Heathen Chemistry or Standing On the Shoulder of Giants when even some of us fans are not 100% convinced?

Sadly it wont happen. Music has 'moved on' and oasis just aren't fashionable anymore. I mean if your on a bus or whatever and a stranger asks you wot u r listening to on ur walkman and you reply 'oasis' just look at there face . I have faith in this next album but don't expect 94-97 ever again .
