i'm a little dissapointed as the documnetary part is pretty much the same as what was on the programme on channel 4 on friday evening. although it was reasonably good you would thought the documnetary on the dvd would have been a bit different! also the quality on some of the live recordings aren't too good, i think it is good, just a lit dissapointed as i was expecting it to be absolutely amazing. still worth buying however.

you all mention it and I think it too
not enough LIAM
sometimes he just says a word and then back to noel, lol
anyways, I was thinking about what some south american friends said, when they found out the DVD had no spanish subtitles, and they were like: "no way, we're not gonna understand a word liam says"
the solution: not to many lines for liam lol sad but true
anyways, yeah, its pretty funne the live forever, baby, part was amazing although we had seen that one in the preview clips already
DIGSY IS AMAZING!! hahaha my God, hes hilarious!
and lot's of other moments too.
the BONUS DVD is not as long as I thought it'd be. but still very good. I liked the I am the walrus performance, it was only logical that they put in i am the walrus, because they talk a lot about that song.
overall:
13.5/10
so, A++++

i remember noel warning in an interview that liam was in a very bad mood when they filmed this, so maybe that's why there's not much of him on it...

Digsy ruled- i'd love to hear a bootleg of the show in Leeds with £50 tickets Noel was great, i love his impression of Alan McGee and the scouse, there we were... now here we are! Great DVD although i didn't like the TOTP performance of Rock N Roll Star, if they're miming there's no point of it being in the DVD

i'm a fan as long as they've been around, but never paid attention to the drummer(s!), but on this dvd, tony is fookin' amazing, not the best in keeping rhythm, but he's so alive while he's drumming! And offcourse not enough liam. And it has a stupid menu, realy ugly.

its great. The bit about sawmills studio is the best, the thing with the boat is hilarious. Good liam part from that to "i remember getting on a boat and going the studio, cant remember anything else, dont even remember coming back!"

the actually content is really good (i know.... not enuf liam, and i agree!). The music videos with the audio commentary are interesting, and impressive seeing the UK and US ones are included. I just found that the organization was lacking. Took awhile to figure how to access everything. If you can get the double DVD go for it. I live in Canada and all there was available was the double DVD. If your from the States and just a small distance away, I would drive up and get it. It only costs $20.99 Canadian, which is like $14 or $15 US.
Oh, and for the other Canadians, during one of the videos which were specially made for the DVD (i think RnR Star) it has a banner that says Oasis with Canadian band "Moist"...eh....

Yeah, I know what you mean about working out how to do stuff.
How the hell do you access the commentaries on the promo videos??
I can get the different US and UK versions by pressing the button on my remote that looks like a film camera but when I press the sound button it does nothing.
Also - too little Liam (although he does seem a bit difficult and never appears to remember anything from the last 10 years.
Plus, the documentary was essentially a remix of that Channel 4 documentary which is a bit of a jip.
Still definitely worth buying though.
PS Loved Mark Coyle's description of Digsy ("It's like opening a bag of monkeys") ;D

Just picked up the DVD today. And being in the States, I'm amazed at how many places had 2-3 copies. I was expecting to pick up the regular 1 disc edition, but everywhere had the 2 disc Special Edition. So far I gotta say that I miss the 90's era

My only gripe with it is that Rock and Roll Star is mimed. They could easily have found a live performance of it.
