I love Supersonic. Live Forever is classic, but I have heard it too often. The Be Here Now solos are too long. The coke made Noel believe that every note was magic. The Go Let It Out outro is cool as well.

DLBIA. Noel can really make it wail like nobody else.

ending of Champagne supernova during the be here now-tour. Especially at budokan 98.
greatest solo EVER played bij noel.
No further discussion possible...

i like the live gas panic solo. nowadays yea, not in th beginning. Noel bends the notes half a step lower now, sounds way better than before. compare berlin feb 2002 with jools 2000, and youll hear it...

i'm rather fond of the 'bring it on down' riff that EXPLODES the moment liam gets done with the chorus... but as far as just a riff goes, nothin can top supersonic, that melody will stick in anyone's head...

As a matter of interest, what does everyone rate as the best oasis guitar solo?? like them all! what is special is that noel knows where to put a solo in a song. he uses it right there where the song is so far that lyrics or music by itself can't take it further. and that's what soloing is really about i think. i read that somewhere too - and i totally AGREE! and gems live go let out solo is sounding very cool aswell. that one really is just so fuckin' cool! can't make up for the best one though. i can play supersonic and a few others so it's a bit boring altough i suck on guitar i can't really make up my mind on the best one. it are THE SONGS that got me into oasis, not soloing!

I prefer the Live Forever's Outro, with all its mystical, visionary impression of what Oasis has become through the years, simply Legendary, the best.

i like the intro of stand by me in wembley. i also like the solo of it's getting better (man), listen up (album version), step out and the outro of go let it out. no need to say that live4ever, dlbia, and supersonic are magic as well.

as i have said many times before, noel can't solo for shit. however, i believe his solos are good because they add harmonies to the chord progression. that's why i like some might say's solo. it complements perfectly to the music.

I never thought Noel was that great on guitar until I heard the Be Here Now Era Champagne Supernova. Awesome! I feel like I'm listening to a jam band. So creative that guy.

try to download it from soulseek or winmx or kazaa or whatever or dc++.
You realy need to get that version. Its noels best solo ever.. And 7 minutes long.
its also cool that halfway through it gets real rocknroll cuz it speeds up and the drums go faster and in another rhythm
