yea i know, but i cant choose.
I trhink i should play them a live version of acquiesce.
thats the most representive for oasis I think. Great rocknroll intro, and both liam n noel singing.
too bad theres not a good soloo in it though.
so the question from now on will be:
what song (1!!!) represents oasis the most?

ok for starters, it Has to be a live rendition, some of the best tunes are taken to another level live....
so, i'd pick a good boot of....
1. Supersonic
2. Cigs & Alcohol
3. Champagne Supernova
can't go wrong.

i dont think champ supernova would get someone into oasis cos its too long, if youve never heard a band before you want it to be amazing and snappy, i think they'd get bored if they dont like oasis.
SCYHO is a good one and whatever as them two got my mate into em

SCYHO is a good one and whatever as them two got my mate into em good choice edit: my mate got into oasis 2 yrs ago after he heard Some Might Say and Little By Little. he said he never thought they had such melodic tunes in their collection. |

You could play them Columbia or Cigs & Alcohol. It also depends on who it is. If its a bloke then any rockin tunes from Def Maybe. If it's a lass, then Wonderwall every time, or The Masterplan. Or just go for broke, sit them down and play EVERY tune to them. That should do the trick!

i'm sure we all know what live forever means to most of oasis fans... after years and years i still can't explain what i feel when i hear it. it's just a tune every songwriter would like to write once in a lifetime i guess...
otherwise acquiesce... or stand by me or.. damn - can't decide. they're all top of the world!
