Didn't meet anyone of them, but I got to shake Gem and Alan's hands at the Roseland gig a few years back.

I was fortunate enough to meet and talk with all of them at the MidTown Music Festival in Atlanta Georgia in 2000. Pretty unbelievable really...now that I look back. It was basically all luck that I got to meet them. They were all very nice and took the time to talk to my wife and me and sign my ticket stub. I also asked Liam if I could shake his hand and he obliged. They each came up to the area where we were standing one at a time....Gem, Alan, Andy, Noel and then Liam. After talkin with Noel a bit, we asked him if he could go get his brother to come and talk to us.....He turns around and yells back at the trailer area where all the musicians were and yells "Liam!!!!!!" About 20 seconds later, Liam comes walkin out. It was priceless!!! I still tell my wife, that she will never meet anyone more famous than those guys. All in all, they seemed like regular guys and I will never forget how nice they were to talk to us, when they really didn't have to. And thats my one and only encounter. Also, the last concert I have been too..heh.
Cheers, Flood

i wouldn't say "meet" is exactly the right word, but everyone did sign my heathen chemistry liner book two years ago in chicago (noel after the sound check) the others after the show. Noel was as cordial and dead cool as one could be, and he spent at least 15 minutes talking and signing with everyone who was clever enough to head to the back of the chicago theatre for the soundcheck. I've worked security and have been blessed with meeting som the biggest names in the game, but NOTHING even came close to the chief. I coulnd't talk for 15 minutes. I have to say, liam looked so small i thought i could put him in my pocket. later i feel bad that they're still so popular and huge over the pond that next to no one gets to experience what I did. (the theatre hold 3 k at most)
