He played the song acoustic on MTV up plugged didnt he? It sounded ok but not as gud! Why didnt liam sing i thought that was terrible the way he left his brother singing like that for an hour! |

from what planet are you? mtv unplugged was in august 96, and little by little was written between sotsog (2000) and heathen chemistry (2002). So, whats your question?

Ive never heard an acoustic version of little by little.
The song is written around 2001 or so, and is released in 2002. Thats the sory... morning glory

LBL and Force Of Nature were both written in 98 for some stupid gangster flick, i think it was called Love Honour And Obey - please correct me if i'm wrong. they dint make it on the soundtrack in the end. noel initially intended to release both of them on SOTSOG instead but as guigs and bonehead left and creation folded in he thought fook it, i'm holding them back.

I'm pretty sure the movie title is correct but i also remember that while he wrote both for the flick he decided to hold back LBL as he thought that it was too good to give away- I've never seen the movie but i seem to recall some mention of Force of Nature (in a sparser demo version ?) being on the soundtrack of the movie.
BTW, I could never understand Noels interest in that song-i remember that he was pushing for it to be the second or third single off of HC- after two years this song has still not grown on me-
to destroy an old rodney dangerfield joke
if you looked up plodding dad-rock in the dictionary you'd find the sheet music to Force of Nature.
Ugh.
