well masterplan is the best as a whole
other songs have some good lyrics here n there, but not as masterful as masterplan
i like masterplan, but i also like the small meaningful lyrics in other songs
sail them home with acquiesce on a ship of hope today...
like it... even tho the whole song doesnt make any sense...

Wouldn't consider anything they've done as poetry, but Cast No Shadow I reckon is closest to a poem. Just doesn't sound right, poetry and Oasis...

lol no it happened to some guy in my class that ripped off a radiohead b-side or something like that. although my queer grade 13 english teacher did suspect me of it but only since my work was better than what he expected.

but i hope you're not trying to plagerzie something for a school assignment - you wouldn't believe what teachers actually listen to. lol, who do you think i am, noel gallagher? ;D i write my own twisted poems. for example, here was one of my assignments for my final project: a limerick. this was mine (i swear- i got a b): in days of old when knights were bold and condoms weren't invented they tied their socks around their cocks and babies were prevented.

this other poem of mine gave me an a:
as i awoke this morning when all sweet things are born, a robin perched upon my sill to signal the coming dawn.
the bird was fragile, young and gay, and sweetly did it sing. the thoughts of joy and happiness into my heart did bring.
as i smiled upon the gentle sun, and passed without a moment's lull, i gently closed the window, and crushed its fucking skull.

I can see a liar
or maybe
Swamp Song
but probably
Why don't we do it in the road?
or
Fuckin in the Bushes Not for the words but more for the way that Liam makes his voice sound like he is an old woman. Or perhaps that was Noel (doesn't he do the high parts?)

why don't we do it in the road is from the beatles' white album:
why don't we do it in the road (x3) no one will be watching us why don't we do it in the road
i think all of bob dylan's and simon and garfunkel's songs are pure poetic. dylan ddoes consider himself to be a poet before musician though. also listen to cream's tales of brave ulysses. i think that it's great.

Hendrix was quite the rock-poet (esp on Bold as Love and Electric Ladyland) btw, i was just joking with the Fucking in the Bushes samples...although, i read somewhere that the old lady they sampled was actually Grandma Gallagher (no, just kidding again )
