the more i listen to more bootlegs (year 2000+)
the more i hate him...
I mean during the concert he doesnt even try to sing... just mumble... If he cant sing.. he makes noel sing
His voice is gone... n he's a fashion freak now. Coz now that he thinks that everyone loves him n worship him.. he just doenst give a shit wen doing a live prformance..
Like the last glasto concert.. listen to "stop crying your heart out" ... horrible horrible horrible..
the fukuoka (japan) concert.... he made Noel sing half of "some mite say"... n the next 9 songs...

Just wondered if you ever thought he sang scyho good?? Cos i think thats a studio only song that hes never mangaged live so its not just glasto
Plus on fukoka you can clearly here on the songs before his voice going, so it would not be right for him to carry on every singers gonna have a problem in a gig and liam did the best thing rather than struggling on

Liams a fuckin rock star, im sick of every one going on about his voice. Christ its only his second gig for about a year and half, give the geezer a chance to break his voice in.
Plus, when Liam sings he belts it out. I think it was the NME who said something like: " Liams the only rock star he gives all to the song and takes nothing for himself "

Oasis have changed, there music is no longer 90's britpop, liams voice has changed with age like everyones does and personally i think his voice sounds a lot more rock n roll now.
He may have been off on a few songs, none of us are denying that but so what oasis have never been perfect thats what was there appeal when they first appeared cos anyone could have been oasis.

wow, this is better than i thought oh wow mr gallagher spotted my mistake in my "choice of word". i shud hav wrote "dislike" not "hate" (hate is a stronger word..) well, i was just saying that (about coldplay) coz i respect them as a musician, i'm not fan (never bought their album).. n i think there are some members who like both oasis n coldplay .. so i dont want get anywhere near that argument "oasis fanatics who cant think outside their small lil world" r those people who cant respect others music... i think oasis was the best in rock n roll, but they're not the god of rock n roll, they were, not anymore... dont live in the past dude n we let ur right side of the brain do the thinkin, coz wen reading thru ur post... i think thats the only side of the brain that u hav.... i kinda agree with shakermaker when he says liams voice has gone. cos i think hes right. i was watching there and then and he was singing supersonic amazing! hit every note. when he was at glasto he was struggeling so much to hit the note. and i thought scyho was embaressing to watch. he hadnt a note in his head.
he needs to face up and get his voice checked out.

No matter how much we complain 1996 will never be back, im not living in the past, i was saying you need to get used to oasis being different now i still think there brilliant.
I definitely dont live in the past however i think oasis do.
There setlist just shows they cant get out of the wonder years as they should be playing there newer songs at gigs not stick to the same old classics, i think they should start taking risks..
Liam has lost the voice he had on the 1st two albums, but in 10 years he'll have lost the voice hes had on the last 2, the voice is gonna change i mean listen to the early demos, his voice was so high, but with age and singing its broke.
In my opinion, i like his new voice. He cant hit the notes he could back then, but i doubt your voice can get as high as it could when you were a teen.
Songs like hung in a bad place show that his voice suits the new songs, as did the new songs at glasto.

HATS OFF u really know how to turn things around. that is one good post I agree with many things that u say, many. i agree that they live in the past (in a way).. n tru we cant bring the good old days back the only different btwn us is you think liams voice is great (u hav ur reasons) i think liams voice is degrading badly (cant hit hi notes) but seriously dude, he's a singer a good one at it... he shud know wat he can & cannot do... it is his own fault that hes voice is like it is now... but well, at least someone likes his voice (i'm talkin about his LIVE performance voice) AND YES, thank god someone mentioned it, i hate their concert setlist... repetitive, same songs... shakermaker, wonderwall, etc (not that dey crap, deyre good songs but...) thanks for the open-minded post i take everything bad that i said to you.. |

me n "chris gallagher" have our own views (we did a pretty good show down hehe. We agreed in somethings n we disagree in one thing in this case concerning liam's voice.

Right thought id return, as its got boring ;D
was just listening to the more mancunians bootleg (blackpool 95) and there were some songs on that were he sung worse than glastonbury, some might say for example was quite terrible and ive never thought this before!
So its shows hes had his "off days" all the times even before the drug binge of be here now

I also have heard some other bootlegs (90s concert) that .. he didnt sing em. He yelled them... didn try to sing at all
but thats just liam having a bad day.
wat im trying to say is, right now liam's voice is just getting worse n worse. almost at every concert he just mumble stuff
He cant hit high notes anymore... That limits the set list
Would u like to hear same songs all over again for the .... gizzilionth time... Some people do, but some dont..
