I finally bought the familiar to millions dvd. Rock'n'roll star is great, both the concert version and the one where they show all of the old pictures of the band. People who have it know what I mean. Wonderwall and Don't look back in anger are great because you can hear the crowd easily on those songs. Stand by me is great but then again I love that fucking song so maybe I'm bias in a weird way. If I had to pick my favorite song from that gig it would probably be rock'n'roll star. They use to perform that song early on at gigs, but it was cool that it was the last song. Special features are amazing. Get some oasis fans on camera and it is pretty fucking amusing. Next on my to do list is to buy live by the sea. So what do you guys and gals think the best song at the gig was? What you think about the DVD in general?

I never liked shakermaker that much. But on the ftm dvd it sounds awesome.

um, liam's voice is not shit on f2m, and if you think it is then you're on it.
supersonic, cigs and alcohol, dlbia, and gas panic are all great i think,
anyway, oasis finally put out a live cd/dvd accessable for ALL fans and people like the above slag it off, should be ashamed...

Live Forever would be my favourite track from that DVD purely because it sounds so awesome!
Prefer the versions of Go Let it Out, Who Feels Love and Shakermaker to the studio versions...

Cigarettes and Alcohol. Its my favourite Oasis song anyway but, Noel plays that little intro, stands on top of a speaker....FUCKIN HELL, then blasts the riff out. Then at the end they play Whole lotta love! Doesn't get much better than that. And Liams voice is top.
Theres an option on the DVD to watch Cigs and Alcohol in different angles, try that out. Its fuckin mega!

ftm is very good. gas panic is the best song and live forever. cigs and alcohol is good, but noel fucks his solos up a bit on it. not very smooth. i also like who feels love. good live track.

MBM, you dont need to love everything oasis have ever done to be a '''fan''. i see alot of fans who kiss liam and noels asses in here. they would never dare say a bad word about them. but lets be honest not everything they've done is god like.

totally.
i know this isn't the thread where that guy bashed liam but i wanna say some stuff. liams voice at glasto was the shits are alot of parts, and alot of people are just saying he's done out of paranoia and shit. it's rock n roll man and i guarantee he's not done. i personally thought he sang my generation, champagne supernova, and morning glory really well. and some others too. you can't always have a good set.

gas panic had to be the best on the whole dvd. go let it out and CS were pretty good too as was the guitar at the end of supersonic.

I love this dvd.A LOT better then the previous night that was on Sky TV (ha ha)I honestly can't believe it gets so much stick.Good visuals, good sound, decent voice and only a couple of Nigel Tuffnell moments!

Its a really cool performance but Liam's voice is kinda shot but he does pour his heart into the performance so it makes up for it.

can anyone explain why ftm is in 5.0 surround and not 5.1? it would sound much better if they utilized the sub cos the sound is sort of flat on the dvd.
